The Bank of Ireland started issuing these 20 Northern Irish Pound banknotes in 2005. They are currently still in circulation. This twenty pounds sterling note is 149mm wide by 80mm high. Printed on the paper banknote is the text 'Bank of Ireland'. The backside of the £20 Northern Irish Pound note features the Queen's University in Belfast.
